Jeff and Kate serve with the West Michigan Team. We seek to give every student the opportunity to take their next step with Jesus at Western Michigan University and the surrounding colleges. (Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Kalamazoo College, Kellogg Community College, and beyond!) That's over 30,000 students! Jeff leads our team of 10 campus missionaries. Kate serves WMU students and also gives coaching and shepherding to Cru staff women across Michigan and Ohio.

We desire students from all over the world to encounter the life-changing power of a real friendship with God like we did in college. We are passionate about sending Christ-following American college students to reach students of the world. We have traveled to share Christ with students in Turkey, Germany, India, the Netherlands, Guatemala, and Colombia. Jeff led our team's partnership with the Netherlands, where we learned how to engage atheist, agnostic, and postmodern students with the gospel. Now we lead the WMU Cru Staff Team toward the vision of giving every student the opportunity to know God personally.

Before joining the West Michigan Team we served for 4 years on the Central Illinois Team, launching and growing movements on small and large campuses across the state. We graduated from Purdue University. (Boiler up!)

We enjoy our kids: focused creative Max (11), energetic Zoey (9), and expressive Lucy (5).
