Since 2004, I have been blessed to serve the Lord in full-time mission work. In 2019, after serving in East Asia with another mission organization and with the Jesus Film project in West Africa and East Asia, I felt led to join the ministry of Unto, the humanitarian ministry of Cru as a Field Strategist for the Africa Region. Recently, I accepted the role of leading the Unto Africa Field Strategy Team and overseeing the work of Field Strategists serving in over 20 different countries. These countries include places in the Horn of Africa which are hostile to Christianity, war torn countries in Western and Central Africa, and other countries that rank the lowest in Human Development Index scores.
By addressing people’s physical needs through clean water, food and agriculture, and critical aid projects, we are able to relieve suffering, restore dignity, reveal hope, and provide opportunities for people to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In addition, these humanitarian aid projects help to provide access to unreached people groups, give our national staff credibility with governmental agencies, and increase the effectiveness of ministry efforts. This work is truly in line with both the Great Commandment and the Great Commission, and I love serving in this capacity. Lives are being transformed for eternity, and I am so thankful for your partnership in this Kingdom-building work.
