Through our involvement with the ministry of Cru as college students God would move in our lives in such a way that we would both end up working for Cru after graduating college.As students we experienced community with other believers while also learning how to practically share our faith with friends, Jenny at UNCP and Julian at UNCW. Having come to faith earlier as young teens, in college we were discipled by Cru staff in how to study scripture, walk in the power of the Holy Spirit and share our faith. Summer missions with Cru is something we are both passionate about as this is where we were exposed to God’s heart for the world and his calling to “go and make disciples of all nations”. Throughout this time we did not know each other and the Lord has honored us with the role of now providing leadership for both UNCP and UNCW years later!We are excited to be ministering in Southeast North Carolina as Team Leaders with Cru. We desire to help students and faculty know Jesus, grow in their faith and go to the world to tell others.Currently our team serves active movements in Wilmington (UNCW + Cape Fear CC) and Pembroke (UNCP) North Carolina. In leading our team of staff and student leaders in our scope of 44,000 students and faculty we are trusting God to create opportunities for Gospel intentionality and life change. Together with other Cru movements and Faculty Commons we offer conferences and retreats for equipping, vision and communityDiscipleship and leadership developmentEvangelism modeling and campus wide outreachSmall group bible study and community buildingMissional opportunities stateside and abroad (over spring break, summer, short term and long term)
