Hi, my name is Danilo Felix. I serve as the Director of Care and Development for Athletes in Action (AIA) Pro Soccer, a ministry of CRU, and have had the privilege of ministering to professional athletes through sports chaplaincy for over 15 years. Based in Tampa Bay, Florida, I’m the team chaplain for the Tampa Bay Rowdies (USL Championship) and the Tampa Bay Sun (USL Super League), where I co-chaplain alongside my wife, Robyn. Together, we invest deeply in the spiritual lives of players and staff—offering Bible studies, chapel services, discipleship, outreach, and holistic care. 

In addition to local chaplaincy, I help lead AIA’s network of chaplains across the United Soccer League, serving as the liaison to league headquarters and overseeing the care and wellness of Pro Soccer chaplains. I also serve on AIA’s International Chaplaincy Team, equipping chaplains to minister to Olympic and professional athletes around the world. 

With a certification in Mental Health Coaching from the American Association of Christian Counselors, I integrate emotional and spiritual care into every aspect of my ministry—offering practical tools to help athletes and leaders navigate the unique pressures of elite sport. I specialize in mentoring high-level soccer athletes, focusing on their holistic success both on and off the field. My approach centers on Leadership Development, Spiritual Growth, and Mental Health, ensuring that each athlete not only performs with excellence but also thrives in personal growth and well-being. Guided by the vision of “Beyond the Game: Fostering Leadership, Spirituality, and Mental Health,” I strive to equip athletes to lead with purpose, live with resilience, and make a lasting impact through their journey.

Beyond the field, I leverage soccer as a platform to engage the local community, mentor young leaders, and share the hope of Jesus Christ. My vision is clear: to see the spiritual culture of professional soccer transformed by the Gospel—one team, one heart at a time.
