I am a Thessalonian!

I live in Thessalonica the ancient biblical city of great Christian history and I studied music. Together with my beloved husband Kostis Papazoglou, we run many projects (orchestras, choirs, music groups) to bring volunteers together and work in a non-competitive environment and therefore have the chance to introduce them to the Bible.  Crescendo Hellas is part of the international family of Christian musicians.

I teach the violin to children from unprivileged families, mostly members of various minorities who live permanently in Greece.  We are attempting to integrate these children within a broader social frame, thus acting against exclusion.  We prepare the Violin kids to be members of the Youth Orchestra, introducing them to Christian music and organizing concerts in churches.  The Youth Orchestra project is an excellent opportunity to bring kids to make music together in a healthy environment and speak to them about life and how to make the right choices for their eternal future.

Another Crescendo project is the vocal ensemble “en horo”.  We aim to introduce Greek audiences to the message of the Bible through concerts with works of religious music (classical music and hymns).  Through fellowship, we create an atmosphere in which members can share their faith with the others in the ensemble.

The Thessalonians (Greek Gospel Band) are familiar with modern Christian music and especially Greek hymnody which developed over the last decades.  Our vision is to spread the gospel in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul in Greece, collaborating in evangelistic outreaches with local churches and other organizations.

Crescendo Hellas brings the good news of God’s love to the people, through music. Would you like to be part of this special team?
