Maggie has been on staff with Cru at the University of Toledo for six years. Shawn recently joined staff alongside Maggie, and serves as a Campus Technology Specialist for Cru. Having both been introduced to a relationship with Jesus through Cru at the University of Toledo, Shawn and Maggie are committed to the Lord and to reaching students in Toledo and throughout the world for Christ.
Maggie mentors college women as they grow in their relationships with Christ, and regularly engages with students of all spiritual backgrounds to discuss topics such as faith and worldview. As a team leader, she also contributes to the training and development of new staff & interns and gives direction to the Toledo Cru movement.
Shawn works behind the scenes to resource other Cru staff, providing them with technical support and overseeing technology at our various offices, so that our staff can help connect students around the world with Cru's ministries.
Like many other missionary organizations, Cru staff members have the responsibility to develop a team of financial partners to invest in their ministry, which includes their salary and ministry expenses in order for them to fully focus their attention on reaching people for Christ and equipping others to do the same.
