In 2007, though I felt like a “big chicken,”

I knew the Lord wanted me to step out in faith

and begin a neighborhood Bible study. With palms sweating, I handed out flyers and prayed. God showed up then and He shows up now. The influence of a simple neighborhood Bible study has impacted not only neighbors but families and our community as well. I desire to provide an environment where women can begin or deepen their walk with Christ through studying God’s Word, build friendships with one another and influence their families for Christ. 

Along the way, my Cru staff mentor, Debbie McGoldrick, and I began a website to share with others how they, too, could impact their community for Christ. The Cru website, nbs2go.com, was birthed in 2010 and is thriving today. I help give overall leadership and direction to the ministry and am a writer for the website. It is seen by more than 23,000 people a year. In 2020, we began a partnership with the YouVersion Bible App. Our unique NBS2GO Bible studies are in 42 languages. We have more than 475,000 downloads. 

The Lord called Drew home in 2016. We served the Lord together for 27 years. Through God's immense grace, I continue in ministry. Through His strength and His faithfulness to provide through financial partners, it is my joy to serve with NBS2GO.
