We were regular churchgoers, sitting in the pews every Sunday while silently struggling in our marriage. But God, in His grace, introduced us to FamilyLife. That turning point transformed not just our marriage, but our parenting and our daily walk with Jesus Christ. We moved from being passive church consumers to fully engaged church members passionate about serving others. Through our experience, God revealed a major gap in the modern church. Most churches offer great pre-marital counseling and have resources in place for emergency crisis care. But what exists for the space in between? What happens to the everyday couples who are slowly drifting apart before a major crisis hits? FamilyLife Kentuckiana exists to offer help and hope to couples silently struggling—just like we were. We are on a mission to raise up Marriage Champions across Kentuckiana—believers who "look up," notice the hidden needs of the couples around them, and feel moved by God to invest in those relationships with gospel-centered support .
