Design Movement is part of the overall Cru college ministry but is contextualized to specifically reach South Asian background students with the Gospel and mobilize them to help fulfill the Great Commission. We disciple first generation immigrants whose parents came from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and others. Like other children of immigrants, finding their place within American culture can be difficult as they straddle two very different worlds. Design Movement allows these students to steward their cultural heritage for God's purposes. This ministry is strategic for not only the future of college ministry but for missions in general as we pray that God would raise up missionaries from these students to help reach the many unreached South Asians in the world. We currently have Design movements at Temple and Drexel University campuses and are partnering with an Indian Christian Fellowship at Rutgers University in New Jersey.
