About Us:
We’re Rich and Christa Clark. We strengthen and encourage marriages and families in a culture that’s losing hope.We’re a blended family and thriving couple from Tacoma, WA. After 15 years of volunteering in marriage ministry, we now serve full-time with FamilyLife as local missionaries focused on helping marriages flourish and families grow strong.
Our passion is personal. We were both previously married and walked through divorces we never wanted. We understand the pain and ripple effects divorce can bring — and our boys have felt that story too. That’s why we’re committed to helping couples not only avoid heartbreak, but build resilient, joy-filled marriages.

A Hard Reality- Personal Update
In May, our family experienced the heartbreaking loss of Rich's 27-year-old son, Dru, after a long battle with depression, mental illness, and addiction. FamilyLife graciously gave us a season of bereavement leave to grieve, care for our family, and begin healing.
We're doing okay, all things considered—mostly good days with some really hard moments. We're surrounded by an incredible community, walking with trusted counselors, and slowly returning to ministry one day at a time. We remain deeply grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and support as we continue the work God has called us to: bringing hope and practical tools to marriages and families.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Dru's memory may support NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness nami.org) or help us continue serving marriages and families through your gift to our ministry.
The Gig:
We serve as Weekend to Remember® (WTR) Field Ministry Leaders in the Pacific Northwest. There are more than 70 WTR events held nationwide each year. In 2025 alone, over 50,000 people attended — strengthening their marriages and families — and nearly 1,000 individuals made first-time decisions to follow Jesus!
Each event equips couples with practical tools for everyday relationship challenges and clearly shares the hope of the Gospel.
It is practical work — and holy work.
As Field Ministry Leaders, we recruit, train, and lead volunteer teams who host these weekend-long marriage retreats in multiple cities across the PNW. Between events, we partner with churches, pastors, and community leaders to build a growing movement of healthy, Christ-centered marriages in our region.
