After interning with Cru for two years, I joined long-term staff! I will be remaining with the Philadelphia campus team upon completion of reaching my support raising goals. I'm from Lansdale, PA, a suburb town about an hour north of the city. Philadelphia has always been connected to me as our family would visit on a regular basis. Even my grandparents on my dad’s side of the family grew up in the city. I attended Temple University for my junior and senior year of college, and I got involved with Cru there. It had such an impact on me knowing that being in a community of believers would be so vital to my success as a student. I jumped right into student leadership in Fall 2021 and eventually applied to intern during the spring semester of my senior year in 2023!

Okay, so you're from the area and you were a student there, but why stay?

Philadelphia is one of the most strategic places to minister to students in the country. It's the 5th largest city with college students in the U.S. next to NYC, LA, Chicago and Boston. Philadelphia also boasts it's world class education in medicine, business, research and more. Impacting the leaders of tomorrow. Students come from all over the U.S. and even the world. Philadelphia universities are known for their ethnically and culturally diverse demographics. Opportunities to reach the world for Christ lie right here in Philadelphia!
