FEEDING FIVE THOUSAND

The second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic hit Bangladesh in early March in 2021 -- almost exactly a year after the initial wave reached the country's shores. The second wave has brought with it a completely new set of experiences, causing fresh disruptions in regards to the people's lives and livelihoods. Around 50 million people who work on a daily wage basis are unable to cope with the fallout caused by the pandemic. People marginally above the poverty level are falling below the poverty line due to loss of income and employment during this period. The marginalized people such as rickshaw and van pullers, auto-rickshaw drivers, cobblers, porters, day laborers, restaurant workers, hawkers and roadside tea sellers are unable to find work due to health risk as well as limited opportunities for work due to countrywide lockdown restrictions in almost every sector.

In this situation the National Leadership Team of Bangladesh feels the urgent call of Jesus; “You give them something to eat.” We believe it is a great opportunity to show the love of Jesus by providing food among the people crying for the food. We are trusting God to bless others by providing food package among 5000 most needy families.

We need your blessing hands and prayer for our mission.
