We joined the staff of Cru because of their life-changing experiences at UC Davis as college students. Jessica met Jesus through Cru, and Thom's life changed when he heard about the Great Commission through Cru. And of course, Thom and Jessica met each other. We married in 2012, and now have four daughters - Mabel, Gwen, Agnes, and Opal.

After serving at UC Davis and in South Africa, we chose to join Cru's newest team in the Inland Empire (Riverside and San Bernardino Counties) to help expand the life-changing opportunities that we received to the 200,000 college students in this area. During this time we have seen many new movements launched at schools like UC Riverside, Chaffey College, and Crafton Hills College.

In 2023 the Lord clarified our calling to a new adventure - re-launching the Davis North Bay Cru team that helped send us out. We are currently trusting God for a 25% increase in our ongoing support so we can move in early summer 2024 and start ministry at UC Davis in September 2024.

The potential future leaders for the church and for the mission are on our campuses now, but 60-80% of church-involved high school graduates walk away from their faith. Help us change that narrative and launch flourishing Christian communities on our local campuses so that together, we can reach and raise up the next generation.
