By the grace of God I am called to help bring the message of the Gospel to university students in England. God is at work in stirring the hearts of many young people and lives are being changed! It is a privilege to work alongside what God is doing in the lives of college students, and to watch how they will make a difference for Christ in their sphere of influence.
There is a huge need for the message of the Gospel to be spread in the UK! A large majority of people in England ages 18-34 have never even attended a church where they have heard a clear representation of what Jesus came to offer them. Less than 2% of this age demographic (college students and young professionals) would identify as a Bible-believing Christian, where as a large majority of the population are rather apathetic towards the church and Christianity. As believers, we have a responsibility to try and present opportunities to bring the message of the Gospel to all people. This is where Cru comes in- we pursue many different ways of getting the Gospel out on university campuses so that everyone would have the opportunity to hear and respond to the message before they graduate college.
I'm committed to helping raise up student leaders who have a vision for how God can use them to impact their campus...and beyond after they graduate. I spend my days on campuses leading discipleship groups, bible studies, doing survey evangelism (initiating one-on-one conversations about what people believe), helping students host outreaches, weekend retreats and taking students on summer mission trips- all so that the Gospel will make an impact everywhere we go!
