Hi! We are Jonathan and Rachel Van Horn and we are on staff with Athletes in Action, a ministry of Cru, formerly Campus Crusade for Christ. We currently serve as the Executive Director of Pro Soccer. We oversee and shepherd ministries throughout Major League Soccer, the United Soccer Leagues, and the National Women's Soccer League. We give direction and vision for the ministry as we resource, equip, and train other AIA staff and AIA volunteers.
It is our desire to give everyone in professional soccer the opportunity to hear the name of Jesus Christ. We want to see the spiritual culture of soccer in North America and the world changed for Christ! There are Christians throughout these pro leagues who we are investing in and encouraging to reach their teammates, clubs, communities, and those they influence for the sake of furthering God's Kingdom and sharing the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
We have a passion to see God use the game of soccer; which influences billions, as a way to share Jesus Christ and take the model Christ gave in Acts 1 to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus in our cities, our state, our country, and throughout the world.
This is accomplished through personal and small group discipleship and intentional investment in the lives of athletes and coaches. It is our desire to equip athletes and coaches to share their faith (fulfill the Great Commission, Matt. 28), lead small groups, and disciple others. With the hope to Reach, Equip, and Multiply athletic influencers! 2 Timothy 2:2

It is truly a privilege for us to be able to use our gifts, experiences, and talents to share Christ with professional soccer players and coaches in order to empower them to maximize their platform to influence others for Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
