I grew up in a Christian home and came to Christ at a young age. In High School I found my identity in sports, relationships, and popularity. God used discipleship towards the end of high school to redirect my heart to follow solely after Jesus instead of finding my identity in things that wouldn’t last or fulfill all that I was longing for in life. I then attended Baylor University and God used my four years there to grow my burden for the lost and deepen my heart for people to know Jesus in a deeper way through discipleship. I was introduced to Athletes in Action right before my senior year of college and I was able to get involved with AIA at Baylor. Through this, I was a part of a start-up Bible study with one of the women's teams as some were introduced to Jesus for the first time! A key moment for me in being called to ministry was when I went to a conference with Cru where they inspired upperclassmen to live their lives for the cause for the Gospel. They shared the passage in Isaiah 6 where God asks “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” This verse resonated with me and I remember getting down on my knees and responding to what I sensed as God’s call to fulfill the Great Commission with the best hours of my day.

Athletes in Action is a campus ministry a part of a larger organization called Cru. Their mission is to see a Christ-follower on every team, in every sport, in every nation! As I grew up playing basketball and being involved in sports throughout my life, I have seen both the need and opportunity to share the gospel to athletes. I had the opportunity to mentor several younger girls at Baylor and have seen the need to be mentored myself, God has continued to instill in me the desire to "Go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19) both evangelism and discipleship. I am more than thrilled to be a part of an organization that values these two simple disciplines that Jesus calls us to in the great commission. This next year I will be working at the University of Minnesota as a campus field staff. My job will be to work with student athletes as I share the gospel, disciple, and be a part of watching student athletes lives be transformed by the gospel.

Like many other missionary organizations, AIA staff members have the responsibility to develop a team of financial partners who provide the necessary finances for their outreach, including their salary and ministry related expenses.  In order to report to University of Minnesota I will need to be fully funded, so I’m asking friends and family to prayerfully consider partnering with me financially in monthly amounts or one time gifts! Your partnership in prayer and in finances can make a difference in reaching people for Christ. Would you make a monthly commitment of $100 or some other amount?

Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to talk more about what I will be doing! I love PRAYER! please pray for me as I continue to raise support and prepare for campus ministry!

"Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly  make known the mystery of the gospel" Ephesians 6:19

Thank you so much and God bless,
