Karisa Kuipers

Karisa is in her sixth year of serving with Athletes in Action at Northern Illinois University.

She recently complete her Ph.D. program in Kinesiology at NIU and while she will continue teaching a couple classes at NIU, she will also take on an increased leadership role with AIA for the 2022-2023 school year.

With the full-time AIA staff couple moving to Florida to start AIA on new campus, Karisa will provide overall leadership to AIA at NIU. As a part-time staff member serving with AIA, she has the opportunity provide discipleship to a leadership team of student-athletes to encourage them as they grow in their journey of loving God and loving people. She also has the opportunity to teach student-athletes to disciple their teammates.
