Discipular para multiplicar! Disciple to multiply! That is the mission statement created by the student athletes involved in Athletes in Action in Puerto Rico. God has been moving in the hearts of student athletes on the small Caribbean island and many have been coming into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
After competing on the gymnastics team and graduating with a finance degree from the University of Minnesota, I worked for a Big 4 Accounting firm for almost two years. During this time, my heart and desire to share Christ with others has grown. This year, I was asked to consider moving to Puerto Rico with Athletes in Action for a year to help build up the ministry. God used the ministry of Athletes in Action to change my life while at the University of Minnesota, and I am excited to take this step of faith to go be a part of what God is doing in changing the lives of student athletes in Puerto Rico.
The Lord commands us to go and make disciples of all nations, and it is the greatest privilege for me to go do this in Puerto Rico. One of the most joyful things for me is to see people come into a relationship with Jesus Christ, learn how to grow in their relationship with Him, and become equipped to share the Gospel with others. I am so thankful to be able to invest all my time to teaching student athletes what it looks like to be a fully devoted Christ follower. Like many other mission organizations, staff have the responsibility and privilege to raise all of their ministry expenses and salary. Your partnership can make a difference in reaching the world for Christ. Would you prayerfully consider joining my team and investing $100 a month or some other amount?
