Sweet friends and family,
This summer I have been given the amazing opportunity to fly across the world to share the love of God in Albania and Poland. Over the past 6 years Watermark Community Church (in partnership with Cru) has sent teams on short-term missions to Eastern Europe. This year there will be teams in Albania, Hungary and Poland ministering to young professionals, High school students and individuals in various life stages. During my time in Albania I will be working with a team of 9 to minister to high school students in the capitol city. We will hold camp for them while also engaging in intentional times of discipleship/evangelism through conversations over coffee. Can you think of anything more perfect than sharing coffee with new friends in a foreign country while talking about God?? During my time in Poland I will be a part of a team that will be serving in partnership with Cru to hold a summer camp through which we will introduce a 12 step Biblically based recovery program called ReGeneration to them. At the completion of camp we hope to establish remote Regeneration small groups in Poland that we would continue to shepherd from the USA starting in the fall. My trip dates will be from June 29 to July 16.
This year (2018) marks the 27th anniversary of the fall of Communism and the 18th anniversary of the end of war in neighboring Kosovo, which included the deportation of 800,000 ethnic Albanians and the mass genocide of Kosovo Albanians. Today, there is still a great need for spiritual healing and the Gospel in Albania.
If you would like to be involved in this mission I would invite you to join in prayer/encouragement or in financial support!
Prayer is ESSENTIAL and we will need all of it that we can get. If you would like to write me a letter of encouragement to take along with me I would love to have these! If you feel lead to write a letter of encouragement for my time abroad, i would be glad to provide my personal address and would pack and treasure these!
I am content with my struggles and imperfection because they remind me how deeply I need God’s grace and allow me to brag on His power and love. I cant wait to share this truth with the people of Poland and Albania. If you would like to give a financial gift to help me make a difference just click the "Give a Gift" button to make a donation by credit card or by bank account transfer.
“ Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong”2 Corinthians 12:8-10
Thank you for your prayers and support.
