Hello family and friends,
January 2016 my faith was challenged by God. I had heard of the gospel message and accepted Jesus into my life in 2009 but it wasn't until a relationship of 5 years ended, did I see that I was living an exhausting life that was constantly seeking to fill this emptiness that I had in my heart. In that brokenness, I turned to God for the first time calling to God with my heart to help me have a relationship with Him because I knew I couldn't find life or be filled apart from Him. God says that "this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent" (John 17:3). Through a 52 week long discipleship ministry called regeneration at watermark, I started to come to learn this life-giving truth. I now have the wonderful opportunity to serve as a leader at regeneration discipling other men who may be going through the same thing and on second Saturday's partner with OurCalling to disciple homeless men and women. God is the only reason why I went from living a selfish life to a life to serve others above myself.
January 2018 I was blessed with the opportunity to serve the people of Haiti on a medical mission trip alongside the Mission of Hope organization. My team and I provided medical attention and assessed their spiritual standing. Using nursing as an avenue to share the love of God by serving over 400 Haitians medically. I was personally touched by the community for their joy in God despite the circumstances. I learned that lasting happiness is not found in the things I thought would bring, such as, a relationship, my career, materials or money. Anything apart from God is like an empty well. It will either satisfy you for a moment, leaving you want more and more or never satisfy you at all. Jesus says, He is the living water. "In your presence is the fullness of joy, at your right hand are pleasures forevermore" (Psalms 16:11).
I now have this opportunity to share this life giving message to the people of Hungary. Hungary was under communist oppression from 1945 - 1989 with dictatorships, closed borders guarded by weapons, and a suppressed church. The gospel was forbidden. There was a season of incredible spiritual darkness. today Hungary is a free country with a. great need for spiritual truth, but lacking Christians who can share the gospel. This summer, through the partnership with Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) 6 different teams in 5 different ministries across 3 different countries (Albania, Hungary, and Poland) will come together to share the good news of the gospel with the people of Eastern Europe. Our trip dates will be from July 14th to July 22nd.
Will you please give a financial gift to help me make a difference in these people's lives for all eternity? Just click the "Give a Gift" button to make a donation by credit card or by bank account transfer.
May God be glorified through this marvelous opportunity!!
