Those 1,800 ministry partners are going ever deeper into areas where the gospel has never been heard. They are raising up new workers, submitting requests for more equipment, and speaking of open doors and open hearts.
Partners are especially asking for video tablets. One Jesus Film Project® coordinator in Asia says the ministries he assists need tens of thousands of video tablets. When trained and equipped, waiting workers will use this versatile tool to show “JESUS” and other Jesus Film® media one on one or in small groups. They are ideal for resistant, dangerous areas. You can equip a worker who is ready to go with a video tablet set with a Bluetooth speaker, for a gift of $530. You can send a video tablet (without a Bluetooth speaker) for a gift of $425. Smaller gifts will also help, perhaps $50, $75 or $100.
Teams who are working in especially dangerous areas are also asking for tiny microSD cards. These can hold the complete “JESUS” film in up to 10 languages and portions or all of the Bible on a single card. Given as a gift, people will place them in their smartphones and other devices so they can watch Jesus Film® media, including follow-up films, again and again. You can equip a worker with six microSD cards for a gift of $60, or 12 cards for a gift of $120.
Please also consider helping to support digital evangelism and streaming of “JESUS,” pre-evangelism shorts and discipleship films. You can help deliver the gospel digitally, even into closed resistant areas, to up to 20,000 people for a gift of $435 or to up to 82,000 people for a gift of $1,785.
The opportunities are plentiful. Workers and ministry partners are ready to go as funds are raised. This is the reason a donor couple has issued a gift of $30,000 as a Challenge Grant*. They hope to inspire your own giving. Whether you can help supply microSD cards, send video tablets or support a film team ready to go, God will use and bless your gift.

So many inspiring stories and reports are coming from 1,800 ministry partners around the world who use “JESUS.” The Lord is using your faithfulness, partnership in prayer and giving to make these stories possible. Here are some encouraging examples:
❖ Ethiopia is an African nation of nearly 110 million people. About 75% of the population lives in thousands of remote villages, many in mountainous terrain. The village of Pinkew is among them and, like most, is distant and unreached for the gospel. Years earlier, the people yielded to the influence of a religion hostile to Christians that had spread from the north.
One day, a team of visitors arrived with a story the people had never heard**. The team announced that in the evening they would show a film. Word spread while the visitors set up their equipment—a screen, a battery-powered portable projector and speakers—in an open field. The villagers were especially interested because they heard the film was in their language.
As the sun was setting, a crowd gathered. To the film team’s amazement, people kept coming until it grew to 2,600 people. When it was dark, they turned on the projector. Then the people heard Him speak—the words of Jesus in their heart language. They saw Him perform great miracles and cast out demons. And many sensed a witness deep within (the Holy Spirit) that all they were seeing and hearing was true.
But then, this Man of love, of power and miracles, was cruelly crucified. The people wept in disbelief. Innocent Jesus was now hanging on a cross and dying. The people were stunned. They watched in amazement as Jesus came back to life. When the film finished, the team gave the invitation. Of the 2,600 people, 1,000 initially said they wanted to follow Jesus, crying, confessing their sins and receiving forgiveness.
The ministry partner who shared this report described the moment: “Many wept as they lifted up their hands in surrender to the Lord. So many people believed—it seemed like the whole crowd—that our team could not keep up with recording all the salvation decisions. The people told us, ‘We have heard about Jesus, but when we watched, we could not believe that someone blameless would die for sinners. This never happens in our religion.’
“Then the team prayed for the sick. The Lord declared His love and power by instantly healing 35 people. One woman who had suffered for years from kidney disease was given new kidneys! The team also prayed against demonic forces. More than 500 people were delivered from oppression and possession. Freed from their bondage, a new church was born, and our staff are using this same showing equipment to disciple and build up these new believers. They are using ‘JESUS,’ the ‘Walking With Jesus’ follow-up series and other films to ground them in their new freedom. Praise King Jesus!”

❖ Author and ministry partner Joel Rosenberg shared a memorable account on one of his popular podcasts last July. He tells of meeting with Christians, working in a secret basement, taking phone calls from Persians. They received a call from a woman who had just watched “JESUS” on television. Here is how one of the workers described what happened:
“This elderly woman calls and says, ‘I’m calling because I just saw Jesus.’ He responds, ‘Oh, I’m so glad, you just saw “JESUS” film – that’s so encouraging! Isn’t that a powerful movie?’ She answers, ‘No, you don’t understand. I just saw Jesus. I was sitting in my room, going through channels. I wasn’t planning to watch a movie about Jesus, but I stumbled upon this movie about the life of Jesus, and it captured my attention …
“‘I’m watching this movie, and it’s so compelling. At the end, it asks me if I want to make a decision to receive Jesus. There was a Bible verse that said, “Behold I stand at your door, and I knock” and “let me in” or something.’ She hears a knock, gets up and totters over to the door, she’s taking it literally from the screen.
“It’s Jesus standing there! And she says, ‘Come in!’ So, they have a conversation, she gives her life to Jesus, He leaves, and she looks at the screen again, and there’s a phone number, so she calls. And that’s when she told me, ‘I’ve just seen Jesus.’”
Rosenberg adds: “This has become a phenomenon [of Jesus appearing in dreams and visions today]. This is not God’s only way. The apostle Paul himself had dreams and visions.” Joel then concluded, saying of the Lord, “He says you’ve got to go tell people. How will they call on someone they’ve never heard of? Your job is to go tell.”
This is the great task that Christ has given to us all, the Great Commission. Like the hymn declares, “We've got a Story to Tell to the Nations.” The most effective way that story can be told is by His power, by faith and obedience. Today, He has also given His church the film “JESUS,” now in 2,179 languages, and effective tools of technology that can take the film, His story, to everyone everywhere.

❖ This last report also comes from field partner, Favor International (they’ve requested hundreds of tablets):
“These tablets have been very, very instrumental to us during our training, our Bible teaching, broadcasting the ‘JESUS’ film—it has been a huge tool of evangelism, discipleship, going into these remote and very unreached places. You can place it out of sight in your clothing, and you are free to enter even a [religious leader’s] house! You are able to teach portable Bible school in their very house. Once we get into their house and we have taught them, I tell you, nobody can resist Christ! We have seen people [traditionally hostile to Christianity] come to Jesus, traditional Africans come to Jesus … [then] actually go and reach out to the unreached.”
