Recently, I was reminded how difficult life can be for Christians overseas. I just received an email from my friend George, a faithful Cru missionary in the Middle East. He wrote to tell me how his wife, Nageena, was attacked by another mom at their daughter's school. The attacker pushed Nageena to the ground and beat her after finding out that she was a Christian. 

Two other moms pulled the woman off Nageena, but not before she was injured. Nageena had done nothing to incite the woman. Her "crime" was simply being a Christian. This unprovoked attack happened in broad daylight, in front of children. Sadly, officials and police did nothing. 

It breaks my heart to consider what our Cru staff endure as they serve the Lord in places where Christianity is not welcome. 

Would you please prayerfully consider supporting Cru's persecuted staff around the world?

Also, please pray for Christian missionaries serving overseas. Especially for my friends George and Nageena as they struggle to heal from the attack. Pray that God would give them an overwhelming peace and that their witness would be even brighter. Thank you and God bless you for all that you do!
