Hello,

About six months ago, Nathan went to the eye doctor for a routine checkup. Recently, he had noticed that he was not seeing quite as well as he had in the past and, with his history of eye problems, felt it would be best to have it checked out. At that appointment, his doctor gave us the news that it was critical to his eyesight that Nathan have surgery to remove cataracts from both eyes.

Around that same time, we also learned that God had blessed us with a child. Each day brings a fresh urgency to our preparations for the little one that will emerge around August 6. We are both filled with anticipation. Yet, we are also overwhelmed by the many things that we would like to do to prepare as we nurture the child that God has given us during this coming season of our lives.

Thank you for being a part of what God is doing through Nathan and I. We love being a part of the process of spiritual multiplication and take to heart what Paul says in 2nd Timothy 2:2 “what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”

Your gifts make it possible for us to provide tools and resources that “turn lost students and faculty into Christ-centered laborers.” Through them, God touches the lives of people in every corner of the world. We are grateful for your sacrificial giving to the Lord and the blessing it is to the ministry God has called us to.

The medical costs associated with eye surgeries and with having a baby are quite expensive. According to our estimates, they will total over $24,000. We are thankful for medical insurance which will cover over half of this.

Would you prayerfully consider making a significant gift toward our out of pocket medical expenses? You will receive a 2013 income tax receipt for your gift.

Thanks for your vital partnership in spiritual multiplication through the Vincent family and around the world!

Till the whole world hears,

Shari, Nathan, & Baby V.
