People around the world face a staggering amount of suffering. One humanitarian expert recently stated, “We’ll see the scars of this crisis for generations. In 2120, we’ll still be talking about this crisis.”
Right now over two billion people worldwide do not have enough to eat. And because of COVID-19 and other factors, as many as 270 million people could soon face acute food insecurity. Experts predict the number of people living in extreme poverty will rise for the first time in over 20 years.
