AIA at the University of Tennessee exists to ignite a movement of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the athletic community at UT,
by winning, building, and sending athletes, coaches and all whom they influence.
WIN athletes, coaches and the surrounding community to Christ through the influence of sports.
The University of Tennessee is a place that is full of tradition and pride. Many people here are searching for meaning, hope and purpose that worldly success can never bring.
Our desire is to introduce every athlete and coach here to the Ultimate Source of Life through sharing the gospel, building relationships, serving people, sharing our stories and listening to theirs.
BUILD an environment on campus that enhances community and spiritual growth.
Through fellowship, training, committed relationships and accountability, AIA helps to create an environment where athletes and coaches can move forward in their relationship with God.
One-on-one discipleship meetings, small group Bible Studies, and times of fellowship help encourage and equip people to grow deeper in their walk with the Lord.
SEND athletes out into the world as changed individuals ready to make an impact on others.
Application of Biblical principles to school work, athletic competition, and social life is one of AIAs primary goals. We believe that having an intimate relationship
with God permeates every area of a persons life in practical ways. We desire to assist the athletes in living out their faith beyond college, beyond their athletic
career, and mobilizing them to make an impact for eternity.
