God continues to use Athletes in Action to have a significant impact in the lives of young men and women by introducing them to Jesus and equipping them to be a disciple of Christ: a learner and follower of Him.
Our vision is to see an equipped disciple who is making disciples, on every college team in the 937 area, which is based on 2 Timothy 2:2 and Matthew 28:18-20. To fully arrive at the vision, we are trusting God to build spiritual movements in every 937 athletic department that impact the campus, community and world for Christ. We are motivated to pursue those goals by one simple thing: Changed lives.
As of 2023, we have growing and multiplying movements of student athletes at Central State, Dayton, Wilberforce, and Wright State. Our staff team is working hard to love students well and lead them to follow Jesus for a lifetime. Giving dollars is such a great lane for practically feeding students in our homes, providing resources like bibles and discipleship notebooks, sending them on missions trips and the life-changing Ultimate Training Camp.
We have a dream of seeing disciples making disciples on every team in the 937 Area Code. This dream would include getting to and seeing a sustainable discipleship movement at: Cedarville University, Central State University, Clark State University, U of Dayton, Edison State, Southern State CC, Wilberforce University, Wilmington College, Wittenberg University & Wright State University.
This fund is specifically set up to fuel the Vision and Mission of AIA in these 937 Team campuses - for athletes to become followers of Christ and to make disciples of Christ. Your investment will for sure make an eternal difference. Our team consists of people like you who give monthly, some give annually, and others give at the end of each year around Christmas time.
