Ralph and Connie Cooley

Ralph and Connie Cooley have served with Cru (Campus Ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ) since 1976 and 1975 respectively. Forty eight of those years have been living in Moscow, Idaho, home of the University of Idaho. Ralph assumed the responsibility of Campus Director the spring of 1981, and was privileged to work with more than forty staff and interns during his twenty-five year tenure. 

Called by God to shift their focus from direct student ministry to ministry with professors (the leaders of the university)  though the faculty ministry of Cru, Faculty Commons, (www.facultycommons.com) Ralph passed the directorship of the undergraduate ministry in May, 2007.

Ralph and Connie now work on three campuses, University of Idaho, Washington State University and Lewis Clark State College trusting God to use them to build spiritual movements among Christian faculty to impact their campuses. Our vision is to see Spiritual movements everywhere, on the U of ID, WSU, LCSC campuses, the Greater Northwest and the world,  so that every student and faculty knows someone that truly follows Jesus Christ. It's the, "Whole Campus to the Whole World."

Ralph and Connie attribute their children's passion for ministry to the positive international experiences they have shared as a family. The first was the 1993 Osaka, Japan Summer Mission which Ralph directed. We lead summer mission trips to Japan for twelve years till 2007.  The summer of 2009 found Ralph and Connie co-leading the a summer mission to Nigeria with a WSU professor, Dr. Bernie Van Wie. Then again to Ghana West Africa in the summer of 2010. Ralph then began leading mission teams of faculty and students to Costa RIca from 2010 -2016.  Ralph is now leading mission teams of faculty and students on Spring Break and summer Mission trips to Nicaragua and Guatemala. We have an ongoing "partnership" with Cru Guatemala trusting God to build spiritual movements of students and faculty on universities in Guatemala."

We are so very grateful to our Lord and Savior for the opportunity to serve Him and to trust Him to reach every student/faculty with His Gospel. Trusting God to reach the Whole Campus to go to the Whole World."
