Starting in 1975, Art & Gerry were engaged in full time ministry to proclaim the "Good News" of the eternal love of Jesus Christ.
Beginning with a ministry to international students we realized that, before they could make a reasonable decision to follow Christ, they had to have a better understanding of who He is.
The JESUS Film, first released in 1979, now translated into more than 1275 languages, met that need. As we showed the film to hundreds of students over the years, many were able to surrender their lives to someone they knew and trusted.
In 1992 we joined the JESUS Film Project, a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. From our offices in San Clemente, CA, we moved to Orlando, FL. We interacted with ministry leaders around the world, focusing on East Asia, East Africa, and Eastern Europe.
In 2006 Art graduated into heaven. Since then Gerry has continued on with the Jesus Film Project, making sure workers get into the harvest by coaching them as they discover their funding. She also travels to remote countries with the Int'l School Project once or twice a year training educators to use a Christ-based curriculum in their classrooms.
