Larry and Carolyn Freshour

Larry and Carolyn have been staff members with Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) since 1972.

Before joining staff Larry worked as an electrical design engineer in the space program and with TVA.  The Lord showed Larry it was more important to send men to heaven than to the heavens.  Carolyn was a professor at a community college and then at the University of Tennessee.  We have been blessed with two sons.  One son is a paramedic and the other son works in the banking industry and is the father of our four grandchildren.

We lived in Africa from 1982 to 1992 where we served in the continental office for Campus Crusade Africa.

Our current assignment is with a part of Campus Crusade called International Leadership Foundation (ILF).  Our mission is building leaders of integrity who can lead transformation in society in Africa, Europe, Asia and South America.  Read more about ILF at transformingleadership.com.

The Lord has blessed us with a wonderful team of ministry partners.  Some have faithfully prayed for us and invested financially in our ministry since we began in 1972.  However, due to retirements and deaths and increasing costs we have a very real need for additional ministry partners.  We invite you to join with us in making Jesus known to a needy world.
