Drew and Jennifer Gentile

Drew works in the Global Leadership Office as Chief of Staff to the Vice President for LeaderImpact. Cru has four field strategies: students, leaders, the Internet, and church planting. LeaderImpact is the global strategy division working with leaders to help mobilize them so that everyone knows someeone who truly follows Jesus.

Jennifer works part time on the LeaderImpact Team and part time for Human Resources.

Drew has an S.B. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from MIT and a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, and did further graduate level studies at the Ruprecht-Karls Universitaet, Heidelberg in practical theology.

Jennifer has a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Therapy from Indiana University and an M.A. in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary

Prior to assuming their current roles, Drew and Jennifer spent over 21 years in Germany, beginning in East Germany in late 1985. After German reunification in 1990 they continued as campus directors in Freiburg and Heidelberg. The last 10 years in Europe were at the Western European Office. Drew served as Western European Training Coordinator for three years and then for seven as Chief of Staff to the Western European Director. In the summer of 2006 they joined a small team working for Steve Douglass, Campus Crusade for Christ's President, working on outcome based strategy assessment. Drew also served on the board of Black Forest Academy, as an elder in the German speaking Paulus Gemeinde in Freiburg, and as Chairman of the Board of Black Forest Christian Fellowship. Jennifer also served in a variety of positions supporting the campus ministry and the Western European Office. 

Drew and Jennifer have four married children and five grandchildren.
