Jack and Diane have been Regional Representatives with Faculty Commons since June of 2006; but their ministry with Cru began in 1972 and includes 26 years in Eastern Europe and Russia.  Having settled in Birmingham, Alabama, they look forward to the day when faculty throughout the state of Alabama are captivated by the beauty and wisdom of Jesus Christ and university students have the opportunity to sit under the teaching of at least one respected Christian professor in their chosen discipline.  They hope to help provide an environment where Christian professors are encouraged in their faith and empowered to integrate that faith with their academic discipline.  At the same time, they want to create a variety of venues for questioning professors to thoughtfully consider the claims of Jesus Christ
