Hello Friends!
We’ve had an exciting journey serving the Lord with Cru for more than 40 years! We’ve shown the JESUS film in remote villages and islands, lived in other countries, worked with students on university campuses, helped produce the JESUS film in hundreds of languages, and provided leadership to Cru ministries along the way. We are grateful for the many experiences God has given us.
Today, Mark serves as the director of StoryRunners to reach oral cultures through oral Bible storying. More than 3,000 languages in the world have no Scripture, and most of the people who speak these languages live in oral cultures. Our vision is to see followers of Christ in communities of faith in 500 language groups by 2025. StoryRunners’ School of Storying is a fast-track workshop where StoryRunners team members work with local people to develop The Promise, a series of 40 Bible stories from Creation to the Return of Christ, in their own language in just weeks. Afterward, national believers use The Promise for evangelism, discipleship, and church planting.
Jenny serves as the producer of her.BIBLE, an audio Bible in multi-ethnic women's voices. Her passion is reaching women with the life-changing message of Christ. Her dream is to develop a model for women in other parts of the world so they can record the Bible in their language with local women and local resources.
