Thank you so much for your prayers and support!  It was while serving in the U.S. Navy that I began a personal relationship with Jesus Christ when I attended a Bible study.  Soon afterwards I got connected with Military Ministry, a division of Campus Crusade for Christ International and learned how to grow in my faith.  Just as someone reached out to me to share the gospel I wanted to help reach military people for Christ.  So in 1974 I applied for and was accepted on staff with Military Ministry.  I have served as field staff at Fort Belvoir (VA), Fort Hood (TX) and in San Diego at three Navy bases.  In 1992 I moved to Newport News, Virginia, where I worked in our Ministry Support Center but started working from home in 2020. 

For a number of years I served in the Human Resources Department in an administrative role to help care for and support our staff and volunteers.  Since prayer is foundational for our ministry, I continue to collect current prayer requests from our field missionaries and submit them in our weekly Prayer Points that is emailed to prayer partners who pray for the global military and our worldwide ministry.  It is an honor to be used of God in His kingdom work as part of “a caring community passionate about connecting the global military community to Jesus Christ.”
