I have been on staff with Cru for five decades. I live in Fort Worth, Texas, but have served all over the United States and the world with several Cru divisions: Campus, Keynote, Asia/South Pacific, Headquarters, Athletes in Action, Life Builders, Priority Associates, and Cru City. My husband of 37 years, Carl, who also served with Cru, passed away several years ago, but I am grateful I can continue as a full-time staff member.


I serve with Cru City Neighbors, one of Cru City's divisions. Our name, Neighbors, describes more of our approach to ministry (as a neighbor, like Jesus describes in the story of the Good Samaritan) than it does a specific group of people who live in my neighborhood, though certainly, that is an excellent place to start! Mainly, I connect with women in Fort Worth who want to know God personally and model His love to others in the workplace, their neighborhoods, and their homes. We study the Word and pray together, and I help hold them accountable to their commitment to applying the WIN, BUILD, and SEND discipleship model. 

I also serve on the leadership team for Neighbors as Communication director. Besides handling all written communication, I have the privilege of helping provide direction and support to our almost 300 staff living around the country. Our motto on our leadership team is this: People first, Mission always. 

Our family has five grown children. All my kids are married, and in 2023, two new grandchildren were added to the other three. Two of my kids and their families live here in Texas, but the other three live in Colorado, California, and Alaska.
