The Mission Statement of Cru City... 

"Engage the curious and equip the follower so that everyone might find their place in God's story."

We have had the privilege of serving the Lord through the ministry of CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ) since 1977.     

We served in the Campus ministry for 45 years and now we serve in Cru City.  Our training and gifts can now be used in mentoring adults and marketplace leaders in our community, building a neighborhood outreach,  and serving with non-profits like schools and churches.  We love this new season of ministry that the Lord has brought us to.  Join us in reaching the gaps in the city!


On Nov. 23, 2016, Carl was diagnosed with Stage 3 prostate cancer.  He had no side effects or warnings.  He has been undergoing aggressive treatment ( hormone therapy, radiation, or chemo) since Dec. 2016.  This has been our greatest life challenge.... to trust Him as we go down these unknown paths.  Currently, there is no known cure.  Please pray with us for complete healing and many more years to serve Him together.

We have increased our medical insurance but still have large medical bills coming in monthly.  We are trusting the Lord for new ministry partners to walk these paths with us.
