Karen and I joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ in 1978. We served for 6 years at Campus Cursade's International Headquarters in San Bernardino, CA ('78-'84), 8 years with the Campus Ministry Area Leadership Team for Georgia, Florida and Alabama in Atlanta, GA ('84-'92) and two years with the Campus Ministry's Eastern Europe Resource Center, also in Atlanta, GA ('92-'94). In January 1994 Karen and I, along with our children moved to Bucharest, Romania where I served as the Director of Operations for Campus Crusade for Christ, Romania. In June, 2000 we moved to Budapest, Hungary where we served at the Campus Crusade for Christ Area Headquarters for Eastern Europe and Russia. I served as the Area Financial Manager where my responsibilities included: Training national ministry leadership in financial management skills; Installation, maintainence and troubleshooting of accounting software; Development, training and deployment of reporting and accountability systems; Auditing of national ministry records to ensure financial integrity; Income, expense and budget analysis; Financial reporting for ministry management.
Our family returned to the USA in June 2008. I currently work with the International Financial Management team at our World Headquarters in Orlando, FL.
Karen is wife of one and mother of four. While her primary responsibilities include homemaking, chauffeur, teacher, physical therapist, nurse and domestic engineering (running our home), her passion is leading women's Bible Studies, teaching women in ministry how to study the Bible for themselves, and mentoring other missionary women.
The bottom line: Enabling our field staff to have successful ministries of evangelism and multiplying discipleship.
We have 4 children:
