My name Leslie Bridge and have been working with Cru since 1979. Voices are hammering in the ears of students today. Voices that seem angry, isolating and divisive. The voice of love, compassion, the voice of the gospel is systematically being silenced. We need more missionary voices out their speaking the love, acceptance and grace of the gospel. 

I work with recruiting students to join with us and then train and coach them through their Financial Partner Development season, so they are able to report to campus fully funded and ready to bring the gospel to students who don’t know Jesus yet. This is what often stops people from getting to the field, the fundraising season.

When a new missionary reports to their assignment, I then oversee their two-year training program. We are equipping these new missionaries to be able to speak in a Biblical, relevant and caring way into and in contrast to the other voices out there. When students begin to hear it and see those who are speaking about Jesus, they are drawn because the voice is so different from all the others.

I love what I do and to be using my gifts in these ways is such an honor and privilege!
