Gary and Carrie Runn

Gary is a graduate of the University of Alabama, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and Bethel University. He has been on Cru staff for over 35 years and has served at the University of Tennessee, as Campus Director at the University of Oklahoma, and as Regional Director in the Campus Ministry for Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Carrie is a graduate of the University of Texas and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She has served Cru at the University of Oklahoma, the University of Texas, and as an HR Associate for the Red River Regional team. We have two children-Courtney who is 24 and is a journalist in Austin--and Davis who is 22 and a senior at the University of Alabama. We are currently serving on the National Team of Cru-City. We desire to make Jesus known through mobilizing followers of Jesus and partnering with the local church in the top 50 cities of the U.S.--and around the world. Gary gives focus to developing leaders and strategic initiatives for City. Carrie contributes strongly to writing and editing critical content for cru.org. Our overall desire is to so treasure Christ that others might treasure Him also.
