Forty plus years ago, we married and joined the staff of Cru. We served on campuses for 10 years in Utah and California, while also completing seminary degrees.  

As the Iron Curtain came down, we moved our family to Kyiv, Ukraine where we led the city ministry and trained Ukrainian staff.  After turning the ministry over to Ukrainian leadership, we moved to Colorado to help launch a ministry to marketplace leaders in Denver, where we’ve lived since.

We continue to lead Cru Denver in a season of innovation. We are passionate about engaging the curious and equipping the follower to find their place in God's story. We've developed Faith 360: Living the Gospel in the 21st Century, a discipleship curriculum that helps the disciple of Jesus re-imagine what it means to be a Christian in a mostly secular world.  It's seeing kingdom breakthrough locally and globally.

We also launched the Leadership Circle, which takes followers on a worldview journey into faith, vocation and culture to significantly impact the city for the kingdom. 

We are deeply committed to what God has called us to, and it fits excellently with how He has fashioned us.

We have three grown children, two sons and a daughter giving us four young grandchildren. Our daughter is also on Cru staff, reaching out to internationals and refugees in Denver.
