For over two decades, we have had the privilege of serving with the ministry of Cru on the Central Coast. We have ministry at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Cuesta, North Cuesta, and Hancock College as well as on SLO and Morro Bay High Schools. What God has been doing here is nothing short of miraculous! Gretchen and I feel so blessed to be a part of it! Over the years, the ministry has grown from about 75 students to many hundreds. 

We believe that God has called the Cru Central Coast ministry to be a sending ground to the world. We have sent full-time missionaries to nearly every major college campus in our region as well as countries overseas. We have been sending Summer Projects and STINT teams to East Asia and more recently, the Middle East. These are incredibly strategic places to do ministry! God’s Spirit is truly moving in an historical ways. We have literally seen hundreds of students come to know the Lord. Because we have been able to keep teams there year round, we have been able to disciple and train these students after they come to know the Lord. As a result, there have been self-sustaining movements established on four different campuses. It’s amazing.

And of course, in all of the campuses and locations, students’ lives are being changed for eternity…moving from darkness to light, from death to life. In our opinion, there is nothing better than that!
