Creating Cultures of Love, Goodness, and Beauty at Baylor and the World
A heart for the lost, a heart to develop leaders, a heart to be theologically grounded, a heart to minister to the marginalized. That is where we have been, where we are, and where we are going. AIA at Baylor has positioned us to build God's kingdom with coaches, athletes, the community, and the world!
AIA has trained us well in evangelism and discipleship and has afforded many opportunities around the world to share "the hope within us through Jesus Christ" to leaders in sports who can lead others toward true transformation.
Baylor and the new Faith and Sports Institute (FSI) is a beautiful partnership as I help to build a multiplying ministry with the athletes and coaches through AIA and teach in the graduate program with FSI. The institutional support and name recognition with Baylor has afforded a greater reach around the world. In the last few years, we have educated over 250 sports leaders from over 30 countries. We also hosted the Deep Dive Retreat this past August to help leaders and chaplains address their own trauma so they are more equipped to help the athletes deal with their mental health issues. It's so fun to be an integral part of Baylor Athletics to influence from the inside. So much potential!!!
And we can't do it alone. All of these initiatives have forced us in dependence on God for direction, discernment, and certainly the development of significant funds. Thank you for your ongoing support and I am asking for your prayerful consideration to either begin supporting us or raise your level by $30/mo. with a two-year commitment. If I don't have sufficient funds over the next few months, I will be forced to leave campus and spend time away from ministry. Please consider a monthly donation or a lump sum for the year. All donations are tax-deductible. Please pray along with us!
