This has been our passion since 1951.
As Chicago students are WON to a relationship with Jesus and BUILT in their faith, Cru Chicago seeks to provide environments and experiences that will deepen students' experience of God. We do this by SENDing them to retreats, conferences, and missions trips.
Cru Chicago sends students to several events throughout the year, including:
- Fall Retreat: A weekend getaway in October, focused on connecting students to God and to one another
- Winter Conferences: A regional conference with 2000 students hosted in Indianpolis, Indiana during December 28-January 1. Students experience dynamic speakers, musicians, and training during this life-changing week.
- Spring Break Trips! Students travel to various places in the United States and overseas, where they receive training and experience in sharing their faith.
- Overseas Missions Trips: Cru Chicago is committed to Winning, Building, and Sending students in East Asia. The area we travel to is home to tens of thousands of college students, and Cru Chicago seeks to help grow the movements on several campuses.

Cru Chicago loves to provide scholarships to these opportunities for students who wouldn't otherwise be able to participate. Your gift can make a significant difference in students' lives as they lift their eyes to the Lord and step out of their comfort zones to experience His love and work.
If you are giving in response to an individual student's request for financial support, please type the student's name and campus in the "comments" box as you check out. We will then ensure that the student receives credit for your gift.
Our 2024 Spring Break and Mission trips include the following:
- March 8-16, 2024 - Students from Indiana University Kokomo, Illinois Institute of Technology, and Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design are partnering on mission together in Panama City Beach, Florida to develop their knowledge and skills in spiritual leadership, ministry practice, and communicating the gospel with others.
- March 21-27, 2024 - Students from several Chicago area colleges will be traveling to Weyauwega, Wisconsin for a Spring Retreat. These students will experience a rich time of growing in their understanding and practice of spiritual disciplines, helping them to return to campus rested and equipped to make disciples.Thank you for investing in these life-changing experiences!
