Welcome to our page! We are Daniel & Melissa Scherbenske.  We both attended Christopher Newport University and were involved with Cru as students. God used that community to draw us closer to God and encourage us to take bold steps in our faith. After graduation, we joined staff with Cru! We are on a team that covers the Tidewater area of Virginia or as locals call it, Hampton Roads. 

Our team currently has movements at 6 schools. The College of William & Mary, Christopher Newport University, Old Dominion University, Norfolk State University, Virginia Wesleyan University, and Thomas Nelson Community College. We have a passion to reach college age students with the gospel by winning students to faith in Jesus Christ, building them in their faith, and sending them to win and build others where ever life leads them after graduation. 

We are very excited to reach college students in the Tidewater Area. We are able to work full-time with college students because we have a team of people who believe in our work and give and pray to make it possible. We ask new ministry partners to consider giving monthly in the range of $100-$200. All investments in our work are tax deductible.
