McKenzie Cranford

I’m excited to let you know about a trip I’ll be taking to Albania this summer! Through Watermark Community Church, working in partnership with CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ), I'll be traveling to Albania from June 29 to July 9, 2018.

I have to admit, I knew nothing about Albania before hearing about this trip. A quick Google search revealed it as the birthplace of Mother Teresa, but there's much more to the story. This year marks the 27th anniversary of the fall of Communism and the 19th anniversary of the end of war in neighboring Kosovo, which included the deportation of 800,000 Albanians and the mass genocide of Kosovo Albanians. Today, there is still a need for spiritual healing in Albania.

My team will be holding camp for students in Tirana, the capital of Albania. We will have the opportunity to lead discussions, play games, build friendships, have conversations over coffee and share the good news of Jesus' death and resurrection. God has done an incredible work in my life, and I am excited for the opportunity to be a part of His great work in Albania.

Overall, a team of 40 people will be helping run summer camps for high school students in 3 different cities in Albania and one city in Hungry. Others will be going to Poland to launch the Re:Gen program there!

We cannot do any of this without the power of Christ going before us, so I'm asking for your prayer and financial support as God leads. Thanks for reading and let me know if you have any questions about how to partner with us!
