Poverty and despair plagued Damian’s family. They were barely surviving in Harlem’s tough inner city.

But you interrupted the darkness with a wonderful gift ... Easter Bags for Damian and his family.

When Damian received his Easter bag, he burst into tears … Tears of joy! He had heard of the tradition of “Easter baskets,” but he had never received a special Easter gift of any kind ... Until now!

Thanks to a generous friend like you — for the first time in his life, this little boy experienced the joy of Easter.

But this was only the beginning! Deeply moved by the congregation’s care for her children, Damian’s mother brought her family to church the next week. There, the light of God’s love began a transforming work in the entire family!

  2. They’ll use the Easter Bags to share Jesus’ love with families in need, through special Easter outreaches. Children and parents will come to faith in Christ.
