It is hard to believe that we have been serving with Cru for over 30 years. When we first stepped onto campus, our hearts were filled with excitement and conviction—to reach students with the Gospel of Christ and to see the world transformed as a result. From the beginning, our vision has been clear: today’s college students are tomorrow’s leaders. Changing the eternal destiny of one student has the potential to ripple out exponentially, impacting thousands of men and women across the globe. Through every role and assignment God has given us, that vision continues to propel us forward. We passionately pursue students with the Gospel of Christ so that they, in turn, can carry the message of Jesus to those who have never heard.


Today, it is our great joy and privilege to focus on the more than 20,000 international students in the Austin area, including 8,000 at the University of Texas—representing over 140 nations. The University of Texas is not only one of the world’s leading universities but also one of the most strategic mission fields. It's very slogan captures our heart: “What Starts Here Changes the World.” That is our prayer—that the world will be eternally changed as international students encounter the Gospel here and then go out to influence their nations with the message of Christ.

Christa and I serve with ATX Bridges International in Austin and at the University of Texas. We are also blessed with four children: John, Benjamin, Stephen, and Elizabeth.

We are deeply grateful for your generous partnership—through both prayer and financial support—in reaching the nations with the Gospel. Together, we are seeing God’s vision fulfilled: students transformed, the nations impacted, and the world changed for eternity.
