It is hard to imagine the we have been on staff with Cru for nearly 30 years. As I think back to our time of coming on staff, I remember the excitement of stepping on campus with the desire to reach students with the Gospel of Christ and seeing the world changed as a result. It is the vision that today's college students will be the leaders of the world tomorrow. Changing the eternal destiny of a college student could and will have an exponential effect on the lives of thousands of souls of men and women around the world. Through the various positions we have served in, it is this vision that continues to drive us. We continue to passionately pursue students with the Gospel of Christ so that they can go and reach those whom have not yet heard.
It is with a great joy that we have the tremendous opportunity to pursue international students on the University of Texas campus where there are approximately 8000 internationals representing more than 140 countries. The University of Texas is one of the highest ranked universities in the world and is a very strategic place to reach international students and thus reach the world. I love the University of Texas slogan What Starts Here Changes the World. That is our prayer, that the world would be eternally changed because of the Gospel taking root in the lives of international students here and the impact that they will have as they go across the globe with the message of Jesus.
Christa and I serve at the University of Texas and have four children, three boys, John, Benjamin, and Stephen and our daughter, Elizabeth.
