In Eastern Europe, in the small country of Montenegro, many families are struggling to get by and with the inflation brought on by the influx of Ukrainians and Russians, that struggle has gotten worse. Cru in Montenegro is helping run a local food bank called Nova Nit. The goal of Nova Nit is to help those families in need receive staple food items and hygiene products each month. By working with local grocery stores and community gardens, they are able to buy the products at discounted rates and to provide fresh produce. The work of buying, organizing, packing, and distributing is done by volunteers. It is a great opportunity to introduce others to the beauty of being the hands and feet of Christ to the poor and needy in Montenegro.
