Soapy and Suzanne Dollar

Soapy, a full-blooded Apache Indian, and his wife Suzanne have served since 1971 with CCC. They have ministered on college campuses, in the Music Ministry (both play various instruments and sing), and as International Representatives for eight years in Belgium and Spain. For the last 34 years they have directed ministries out of San Antonio, TX, America's seventh largest city. Both speak Spanish fluently, and continue to travel and minister in many countries - most recently, Panama, Honduras, China, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, India, etc. - to help evangelize and make disciples in those nations.

The couple has three adult children: Scott (39), a Stanford University Symbolic Systems grad and entrepreneur; Shawn (36), a computer science Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio and now a professional programmer, and Stacy (33), a Business Management graduate of The King's College in New York City. After graduation, Stacy worked for six years in the Hollywood movie industry, but moved back to San Antonio in 2011 to assist with the ministry.

Currently, Soapy and Suzanne direct two ministries in San Antonio: 1) the Gateway Military Ministry at Lackland AFB, sharing the Gospel and teaching life-changing truths to 20,000 AF basic trainees every year, thousands of whom indicate the decision to trust Christ as Savior and Lord, and 2) "The Bible Live" radio program on KSLR (AM-630) in San Antonio, a Salem Radio Network station. Every Sunday evening at 9:00, listeners tune in to hear sound, life-changing Bible teaching. Faithful listeners across 39 counties of South Texas cover the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, each year. Many call in for explanation or questions. Others have received Christ over the airwaves. God's Word is POWERFUL. "Faith comes from hearing, and hearing from the WORD OF GOD"

Soapy also hosts "The Story Teller", a radio program on over 300 stations which targets Native peoples on reservations across the U.S. and Canada with stories of First Nations men and women who are following Jesus Christ without reservation.  For more information, go to

Soapy and Suzanne are working and raising the funds to expand both programs. Here's a personal word from the Apache Indian who would read the Bible to America and the world:

"I was what used to be called an illigitimate baby, abandoned at birth on the streets of Albuquerque, NM. A 50-year-old fortune teller found me, took me took me home (she was living alone at the time, separated from her third of five husbands), got me a birth certificate, then passed me around to about 16 families before I was six years old. Then Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, a home for homeless and/or delinquent boys near Amarillo, TX, agreed to take me in and became my home. There at age 8, I gave my life to Jesus, and He changed my life and my destiny forever.

Truly, knowing and following the Messiah is the greatest adventure any human can experience, and both Suzanne and I live to share that joy with everyone we meet, here in the U.S. and around the globe. Thank you for your prayers and financial gifts that allow us to invest all our time, talent, and energy in helping fulfill our Lord's Great Commission. It is an honor to partner with you in serving our glorious God."
