Mark and Pat Terry serve with the International School Project (ISP), a Cru ministry that reaches public school teachers around the world with the hope of Christ. The Terrys have worked with Cru for more than 43 years, including eight years in Europe where their focus was on Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. They are currently based in Colorado Springs, CO, continuing to share the gospel with teachers around the world. Mark and Pat have two adult daughters, Anne Marie and Michelle, and one granddaughter, Alayna.
The mission of ISP is to reach and equip public school teachers around the world and to train them in the use of several curricula on Christian ethics and morals so that they can, in turn, teach their students and peers about Jesus. Over 100,000 educators in 30 countries have been trained to date! The Terrys share that “We love working with ISP because teachers enjoy a great position of influence in almost every country, and we have found that training educators to share about God's love with their students and peers is one of the most effective ways to reach the next generation in these countries. A major strategy of ISP is to build up teachers to become multiplying disciples, thereby exponentially impacting more people!”
Mark and Pat have traveled to many countries with Cru and ISP, including Russia, Albania (and most of Eastern Europe), Kyrgyzstan, Ecuador, and several other locations. Mark is the Director of Operations for ISP and Pat oversees the Care Team for ISP, in addition to working on video projects for the ministry.
