Changing Lives through the Culture of Sport

You see the influence of sport every day. From celebrity athletes to youth sport activities, from 24-hour TV sports networks to the local newspaper - sport influences individual lives and entire countries. What if the universal language and impact of sport was used to offer the gospel and equip people to live and share their faith?

Athletes in Action, a Cru ministry, is an international sports organization focused on equipping athletes, coaches and sport-minded individuals to grow in their relationship with Jesus and invest their lives into others. By serving more that 60 countries, on over 200 college campuses, in 50 professional sports teams, our ultimate goal is to see Christ followers on every team, in every sport, in every nation.

Annie and I have been serving with AIA in the San Diego area, primarily at San Diego State University, for 34 years. Our heart and focus are to spread God’s love and message through the platform of sport...to impart life-changing truth where God, life, and sports unite...to fight for the hearts and minds of young men and women...and to develop athletic influencers into Christ-centered leaders.
